Imminent exit of Mekies. Major changes in the organizational chart coming.

Ferrari, in the Canadian GP, changed pace and also course. The good results on the track (fourth Leclerc, fifth Sainz) have, in fact, certified Vasseur’s decision to change strategy on the run and, above all, to make substantial changes within the team as well, with novelties of a certain weight.

The priority is internal reorganization. Figure out who will do what and how the whole team will be revised. In fact, the imminent exit of Mekies will lead to a new structure of Ferrari’s technical framework.

“We have chosen not to make noise, but we will make noise. Soon you will know who is coming,” team principal Vasseur’s clear words to SKY UK. The feeling is that the next two months will be decisive, both in terms of whether Ferrari is competitive again on the track and in understanding the new organizational chart that Vasseur is studying. There is a great desire to be competitive again, and to do that, difficult but necessary choices are needed at the team level.
