Marco Bezzecchi bets big on Assen, but has one major concern
Ambitions for the Assen weekend are definitely important.
Marco Bezzecchi sets his sights on the MotoGP Dutch Grand Prix, with the clear intention of doing well and relaunching his assault on second place in the world standings behind Pecco Bagnaia. With a very clear memory in mind.
“I got my first podium in MotoGP here, so I have very good memories of Assen. I love this circuit,” Bezzecchi explained at the press conference, “The track is particularly suited to my riding style and has a wonderful traccato. But the most important thing for me now is to stay focused for the weekend.”
Bezzecchi then focused on the new MotoGP formulas. “Sprint races can quickly change everything. In fact, in Germany I had struggled the whole weekend,” the Team Mooney VR46 rider recalled, “but in the race I was able to find something that allowed me to go better. However, this is a format that puts you behind as soon as you miss something. Being consistent is difficult, but crucial.”
