MotoGP, Assen sprint race: Pecco Bagnaia has one regret
Once again, in the sprint race of the MotoGP class Dutch Grand Prix at the Assen circuit, Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia had to settle for second place, this time behind Marco Bezzecchi. Here are the statements to the microphones of Sky Sports of the Ducati world champion.
“Bezzecchi is riding like hell, a bit like Jorge Martin did at Sachsenring. I tried to keep up, even pushing in the last two laps, but I didn’t have enough feeling to go and catch him. He made better use of his potential.”
“I am suffering in turning the bike in the slow corners, while Bezzecchi had more traction coming out. With the new bike I have more stability, but it’s not easy to tune and ahead of tomorrow we will have to work on it. We have ideas and I think with the medium tires we will be able to do better, although I’ve been doing second for three races and I don’t like it!”
