Quartararo third with broken toe: “I hope to repeat myself”
Fabio Quartararo found the podium again in the sprint race of the Dutch Grand Prix in Assen. The Yamaha centaur, despite a broken big toe, managed to stay in the leading positions by making the most of his Yamaha and keeping several currently superior bikes behind him.
“I am very happy with what I did today and to be on the podium. I know I was only able to do it because of Brad Binder’s penalty, it happened to me in Misano years ago. Overall, I don’t think I could have done much more.”
“At this point we will start to focus ahead of tomorrow’s long race, in which the difficulties will increase because of the distance especially thinking about the tires, but I want to fight for the podium again,” are the post-race words.
