F1, Sprint Race Gp Austria, Max Verstappen dominates: bad Charles Leclerc

After snatching the best time in Shootout qualifying, Max Verstappen also won the Sprint Race of the Austrian GP. The Dutch driver, after a battle in the first lap with Sergio Perez, managed to create a gap that he maintained and increased over the course of all 24 laps. The reigning World Champion, in fact, preceded his Red Bull teammate and Carlos Sainz (first podium finish of the season), who finished at a gap of more than 20 seconds.

In fourth and fifth place were the two Aston Martin drivers, with Lance Stroll finishing ahead of Fernando Alonso. Completing the top-10 were Nico Hulkenberg (Haas), Esteban Ocon (Alpine), George Russell (Mercedes), Lando Norris (McLaren) and Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes). A day to forget, however, for Charles Leclerc, who finished no higher than 12th.

With his victory in the Sprint Race, Max Verstappen increased his points lead over Sergio Perez to 70.
