NBA, Russell Westbrook remains loyal to LA Clippers
Decisive the last few months at the LA Clippers in which he played great
As reported by ESPN, there is now no longer any doubt. Russell Westbrook has found the deal he was looking for. He stays with the LA Clippers, a franchise he has been playing with for the past few months (with great results).
The 34-year-old All Star reached an agreement with the LA Clippers on a two-year contract at $7.8 million total. “He showed on the court what he can do. We all knew who he was. He’s capable of bringing so much more to the team and I’d like him to stay with us,” teammate Paul George had said last April.
Paul George has been pleased. The nine-time All Star has decided to continue his career with the LA Clippers, a franchise in which he immediately hit it big after a negative experience at the LA Lakers with LeBron James. He will try, together with the Leonard-George duo, to win that NBA title that has been eluding him forever.
