F1, Fernando Alonso wants to make a gift toAston Martin

The British GP is one of F1’s historic circuits

This is it. It’s Silverstone weekend, one of the historic circuits of the F1 World Championship. Silverstone is also the home circuit of Aston Martin, which, thanks mainly to veteran Alonso, is having a special season.

The Asturian aims to give his team an unforgettable weekend: “We are very lucky to have Silverstone as a special race for our team. It is a historic circuit on which everyone loves to drive and race,” Alonso’s words reported by AS. Words that make it clear how the two-time F1 World Champion particularly cares about the appointment with the British GP.

After so many important placings, it would be fabulous for Alonso to return to win a GP right at Silverstone, home of Aston Martin, the stable that allowed him to become competitive again. Fun fact: Alonso has already won at Silverstone twice, most recently in 2011 with Ferrari. Now he will go after a third seal with his new, beloved Aston Martin.
