Davide Frattesi’s first words as an Inter Milan player.

With a post on Instagram, midfielder Davide Frattesi expressed all his happiness at becoming an Inter Milan player while also greeting his new fans. Here are his words.

“I am happy. In fact, overjoyed. I couldn’t ask for anything better. It is an honor for me to wear these colors, I will defend them everywhere, giving my all. Thank you Inter for the opportunity. Thank you to the fans for already making me feel part of this family.”

Then, on the Nerazzurri club’s official website, he added, “The Inter legend who has exalted me the most is Julio Cesar because I was fixated on goalkeepers at the time. The most beautiful goal scored in my career? The last one, the one scored against Holland in the Nations League. My favorite sportsman? Federer, without a doubt.”

Frattesi, born in Rome, 24 years old next Sept. 22, comes from Sassuolo, where he played the last two seasons and where he had moved to in 2017 after growing up in Roma’s youth ranks, and then played in Serie B on loan at Ascoli, Empoli and Monza.
