Tour de France, Philipsen wins unidcesima stage: Vingegaard still in yellow
Alpecin-Deceuninck’s Belgian Jasper Philipsen won the eleventh stage of the Tour de France 2023 by finishing ahead of everyone in, 4h 01′ 07″, the 180 km starting in Clermont-Ferrand and finishing in Moulins: beaten in the sprint by Dutchman Dylan Groenewegen (Team Jayco AlUla) and German Phil Bauhaus ( Bahrain-Victorious). Confirmed in the yellow jersey, however, is Dane Jonas Vingegaard of the Jumbo-Visma team.
Rounding out the top ten are Bryan Coquard (Cofidis), Mads Pedersen (Lidl), Alexander Kristof (Uno-X Pro Cycling Team), Luca Mozzato (Team Arkéa Samsic), Peter Sagan (TotalEnergies), Wout Van Aert (Jumbo-Visma) and Sam Welsford (Team dsm – firmenich).
Stage 12 will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023 with a 169-km route starting in Roanne and finishing in Belleville-en-Beaujolais.
