Juventus, Allegri wants Kessie: lunge ready
Juventus evaluates all market options in case of Paul Pogba’s departure. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the French midfielder continues to be courted by the Arabs of Al Ahly despite the transalpine’s initial no to a three-year maxi offertra.
The Saudis would be ready for a major raise for Pogba, and Juventus would not object to a possible farewell that would bring 10 million euros into the coffers and, above all, would favor a cut of about 30 million euros to the salary cap.
The number one option in case of Pogba’s eventual departure is Franck Kessie. The former AC Milan midfielder, coming off a season with more lows than others at Barcelona, could leave in the summer and would welcome a move to Juventus.
The Blaugrana are waiting for offers from Saudi Arabia, but Juventus is hoping for a loan deal for the player with a right of redemption. In a recent interview, Barcelona coach Xavi had revealed that he had spoken with Kessie about a possible farewell: “I spoke with him and he knows the situation perfectly well.”
The player does not fit into the Catalans’ plans and will have to make a decision soon.
