Giacomo Agostini speaks out on the future of Marc Marquez
Multiple motorcycle world champion Giacomo Agostini in an interview with QN spoke out on Marc Marquez and his future: “I spoke to him a short time ago and I understood that he understood: continuing to put all this pressure on himself will only create damage for him. He’d better work more calmly and wait for Honda to put a strong, winning bike back on track. And he will be a king again.”
“Marquez fell a lot, too much. And he got hurt,” Agostini pointed out. “Then he started to try 110 percent to make up for the shortcomings of his Honda and that made him jump and fall even more.
On Ducati’s dominance: “Pecco is on the highway, going fast and in the right direction. He is doing everything right, riding with his head. For a rider, beyond speed, bike power and overtaking, riding with your head means really being at your best.”
“Ducati has made a wonderful bike and above all a winning bike,” Agostini continued, “The results of the Desmosedici are a pride for Italy, for all of us. Beating this Ducati is not and will not be easy for anyone.”
