Juventus, Fiorentina extends a hand to Giuntoli
Zakaria, McKennie, Arthur, and now Bonucci, Giuntoli’s dough.
There is a lot going on at Juventus. Having only arrived a few days ago, new DT Giuntoli is called upon to resolve several granas, particularly those related to the positions of Zakaria, McKennie, Arthur, and now Bonucci (the latter has been taken off the roster pending new accommodation).
According to Sky Sport, Fiorentina has reportedly made a sounding board for Brazilian Arthur, who has just returned from a less-than-stellar Premier League experience with Liverpool. The former Barcelona player has a significant salary (five million euros net per season, plus various bonuses) but the Old Lady could also think about contributing, partially, to the salary payment. Whether the Viola will go beyond the survey remains to be seen. The Old Lady would be happy to say goodbye to Arthur, who has no chance of playing for the Bianconero next season, at least according to what is Giuntoli’s thinking.
More than a survey is the one West Ham is carrying out with regard to Zakaria, another player out of the plans of the Allegri-Giuntoli duo’s Juventus. There is talk of an initial proposal of 13 million euros. Juventus seems determined to try to bring home a better figure for the Swiss national.
On the other hand, there would not yet be any interesting proposals for McKennie who, at the moment, is training while waiting for a call. To be understood, instead, what Bonucci’s future will be. Many hypotheses but nothing concrete yet. The retirement hypothesis does not seem viable. The Azzurri national has always dreamed of playing in the Premier League, this could be the right time (Newcastle would be interested).
