Lazio, deal finalized for Taty Castellanos

One of Lazio’s priorities ahead of the summer soccer session was the acquisition of a deputy for Ciro Immobile. In the last few days, in fact, the biancoceleste club has reportedly finalized the purchase of Taty Castellanos, a 1998-class striker from New York City FC. The Argentine, last year, was a protagonist in Spanish La Liga with the Girona jersey scoring 13 league goals, including a poker at Real Madrid.

According to “TyC Sports,” the agreement between the parties would come on the basis of an offer of 15 million euros plus bonuses. In addition, the striker would be ready to tie himself to the capital club until 2028. In the coming week, the player would be expected in Rome to undergo medical examinations and sign the contract that will officially bind him to Lazio.

With the New York City FC jersey, Taty Castellanos totaled 113 appearances and 53 goals. In addition, the player, thanks to his ductility, is also able to play the role of the right and left wing, in which the biancoceleste club would be looking for reinforcements in the market.

In addition to the Argentine, incoming the capital club would be following several profiles to reinforce the midfield, complicit with the farewell of Milinkovic-Savic. The hottest names would be those of Leandro Paredes of PSG and Piotr Zielinski of Napoli.
