Napoli, Giovanni Lo Celso is being evaluated for the midfield

One of the goals at home Napoli will be to reinforce the midfield, accomplice to the non-redemption of Ndombele and the possible departures of Demme and Zielinski. The Neapolitan management, in fact, would already be at work to satisfy the demands of new coach Rudi Garcia, who is expected to have the arduous task of replacing Luciano Spalletti.

According to reports from “Il Corriere dello Sport,” one name that has reportedly been gaining momentum is Giovanni Lo Celso, who may decide to leave Tottenham to seek more minutes. The Italian champion club has reportedly proposed to Spurs a loan with right of redemption to acquire the player. However, Aurelio De Laurentis’ club will have to deal with the high salary received by the player (around 4.5 million euros) and competition from several European clubs, Betis Sevilla and Aston Villa above all.

In addition to the Argentine midfielder, Napoli would be considering other profiles such as Gabri Veiga of Celta Vigo and Lazar Samardzic of Udinese. However, the partenopei would be willing to invest in the market only in case of the sale of Piotr Zielinski, on whom in recent days, a club from the Saudi Premier League would come forward.

Another priority for the Azzurri is to find a new central defender, complicit with the sale of Kim Min-jae to Bayern Munich. Among the hottest names would be Ko Itakura of Borussia Monchengladbach and Max Kilman of Wolverhampton. More defiladed, however, because of the high cost of the card, are Giorgio Scalvini of Atalanta and Robin Le Normand of Real Sociedad.

Outgoing, besides Zielinski, another player who could leave the partenopei would be Hirving Lozano, who would have several offers from Saudi Arabia.
