Ducati, Alvaro Bautista: “Now I must not make any more mistakes.”

Ducati centaur Alvaro Bautista explained his mistake in Superbike Race 2: “In the morning it was decided to shorten the length of Race 2 and I made it even shorter. It lasted only three turns. I made a mistake. I had made a good start, kept a good line but in turn 3 I touched the white line. On other occasions I had touched it without problems, however, this time I was on the first lap and with tires that were not 100 percent.”

Toprak Razgatlioglu after coming out on top in Superpole Race managed to win Race 2 taking advantage of the Iberian’s crash, and now he is 70 points up in the overall standings, “It was a shame to crash, because we were quite competitive this weekend.”

“On Saturday I was very strong and today in Superpole Race I had a good battle with Toprak. In this round we were stronger than we expected. We have to be positive, look forward and learn.”

Bautista does not want to make any more mistakes, “I will try not to repeat them. It is essential to finish all the races, no matter if first, second or third. We have to get the maximum possible and not make mistakes.”
