Barry Brown Jr. has a message for Spahija.
Reyer Venezia: Barry Brown Jr.’s first words.
Reyer Venezia’s new acquisition Barry Brown Jr. made his first statements as an orogranata. “I’m super excited about this new chapter in my career and I thank the club for the trust it has placed in me,” the U.S. combo guard began. “Reyer represents a step forward: playing the Italian league and the Eurocup with an ambitious club like the orogranata is a great opportunity.
“I don’t know much about Reyer, but I’ve only heard great things about the organization and the people,” he added. “Of my new teammates, I know Rayjon Tucker, with whom I played against in the G League and in Australia, and Aamir Sims, who I’ve already challenged in France.
He then left a message for Coach Spahija: “I am a player who likes to play for the team, work well on defense and play at a high pace. I think my characteristics fit perfectly with Coach Spahija’s system, as well as those of my teammates.”
“I am coming to Venice with a desire to put in a desire to win and to help my teammates improve. In basketball there is always something to learn and margins to become a better player. I am a positive guy, grateful to be able to play basketball and I try to fully enjoy every opportunity that comes my way. I want to work hard for my team and can’t wait to get started. See you soon!” concluded Barry Brown Jr.
