Genoa, insertion for a Roma and Napoli target
Genoa, Daichi Kamada track pops up for attack
Genoa, after finalizing the purchase of Mateo Retegui, is already at work to reinforce the squad available to Alberto Gilardino. The Rossoblù management, in fact, is reportedly sounding out several profiles both in Italy and abroad.
According to reports from “Il Secolo XIX,” the Grifone would join the race for Daichi Kamada, an offensive midfielder who remained unemployed after his experience at Eintracht Frankfurt. On the player, however, there would be several Premier League and La Liga clubs, as well as Napoli and Roma.
The main obstacle for Genoa would be the high salary demanded by the Japanese trequartista. The Rossoblù club, for its part, would have already initiated contacts with the player’s entourage to understand the feasibility of the operation.
On the inbound side, the Grifone would be working to reinforce the back ward as well. The hottest names that would be circulating for some time in the Genoese environment would be D’Ambrosio and De Winter.
From next July 1, it will be possible to deposit the contracts for the players who will make up the teams’ rosters for the 2023/2024 season.
