The rainbow event in Glasgow is approaching, and Tuscany Regional President Eugenio Giani spoke about it at a press conference at the Mugello Circuit.

The Glasgow 2023 World Championships are one of the first multi-events in cycling history: from August 3 to 13, rainbow jerseys will be awarded in all disciplines, including para-cycling.

“We are proud that the Italian national cycling team has decided to train in Tuscany, in Mugello, exalting our region and the strong link with cycling,” Giani said. “I think of our champion Vincenzo Nibali and coach Daniele Bennati and the unforgettable Tuscans who have written its history: Gino Bartali, Franco Ballerini, Gastone Nencini, Alfredo Martini. From Tuscany the best wishes to the Azzurri!”.
