Juventus, wild card Romelu Lukaku divides Bianconeri fans
Vlahovic-Lukaku exchange is topic of discussion on social media
Juventus seems determined to bring home Lukaku to try to win right away. Negotiations with Chelsea are ongoing. The exchange with Vlahovic seems a possible solution, as long as the Blues raise the deal’s balance fee (at the moment they would be about 20 million short of the classic white smoke).
Lukaku, after “betraying” Inter Milan and snubbing Saudi Arabia, seems to have only the Juventus card in his hands. Now 30 years old, the Old Lady would be his last chance to make the final leap in quality that he still lacks to be remembered as a top player. However, his landing at Juventus is not well seen by all.
The Bianconeri people are divided on the possible purchase of Lukaku. So many disagree with Giuntoli’s policy that he should have focused on young Vlahovic, to also plan for the future, rather than on Big Rom to tempt the instant team. There are those who blame the Belgian for always proclaiming himself “against Juventus” and those, on the other hand, who point out the fact that the Belgian national team striker is often injured. Of course, there are also those who bless his arrival, pointing out Vlahovic’s limitations and Lukaku’s characteristics that would fit well with Allegri’s game, made up of restarts.
