Fiorentina tile: Castrovilli’s transfer is cancelled
No Bournemouth for Gaetano Castrovilli: the purple midfielder, who was about to move to England, failed the Premier League club’s medical examinations and will thus remain in Florence.
This is the note of Fiorentina, which thus has to give up 14 million euros: “It is communicated that the player Gaetano Castrovilli , who underwent yesterday medical examinations preparatory to the finalization of the purchase contract by Bournemouth, will return to Italy today, as the results of the medical examinations carried out were not deemed suitable.”
Bournemouth, in particular, canceled the deal after verifying the condition of the player’s knee: “The player will therefore return to Italy to return to Fiorentina’s disposal starting Monday and carry out the regular competitive activity having passed in Italy all the medical examinations necessary for the performance of competitive activity,” instead specified the lily club, which supports the full recovery of the athlete.
Castrovilli is set to expire in 2024 and is likely to leave on a zero-parameter basis next season.
