Alex Marquez armors himself to Ducati and Gresini: “I’m happy, I want to impress”

The Catalan armors himself to his team.

Alex Marquez in Gresini Racing for another season, and his team still in the Ducati team for two more years. These are the news announced Thursday, and welcomed with great enthusiasm by Nadia Padovani Gresini, Gigi Dall’Igna and Marc Marquez’s brother himself.

“A few days ago at Silverstone the first victory in MotoGP for Alex Marquez, who on record, in just a few months with Team Gresini Racing, has already also put a podium and a pole… A roster that could only lead to the continuation of the relationship between the team from Faenza and the two-time world champion. On the plate not only results for the Italian-Spanish duo, but also a great potential that has already peeped on several occasions and that in 2024 aims to be protagonist always,” reads the official website of Team Gresini.

“Team Gresini Racing also formalizes a new agreement with Ducati Corse for the two-year period 2024-2025,” the statement continues. “The spoils together already count five wins, three podiums, three pole positions and 355 points in less than two seasons.

“I am very happy to continue,” commented Alex Marquez, as quoted on the Team Gresini website, “I have always transmitted this desire of mine to the team, and when things are going well it is also easier to understand each other. Continuing together in the coming season is essential for us to continue to grow on this bike, and with this team I know it will be easier. I want to thank Nadia first of all and then the whole team that from the first moment made me feel at home. We will continue to grow and amaze.”
