Marc Marquez backs to the wall: “Either you leave or you retire.”

Former MotoGP rider Jaime Alguersuari sr., father of former F1 driver Jaime Alguersuari, was peremptory about Marc Marquez’s future in a live post on his Instagram profile.

“Look at the two brothers: the Marquez who won the Sprint race is the brother of the one who finished 19th…. Alex knows perfectly well that Marc on Ducati would give him a second. This Marquez is now downsized, emotionally, psychologically, because he made a deal with the devil that screwed him over.”

“Honda was never such a great bike, it was only good for him. Also, I think Honda will not be able to make a bike equal to Ducati next year, and if not, Marc Márquez will enter the biggest drama, oblivion.”

According to Alguersuari, Marquez has to go: “My advice is that Marc should not ride with Honda, but go to Aprilia, KTM or Ducati, or retire. Because we would not be able to stand another year the same as this one.”
