A new adventure for Marco Legovich
Varese Basketball has announced the signing of Marco Legovich, who will join the red and white coaching staff from next season.
Born in 1992, Legovich is a young coach but has already gained a lot of experience in Serie A (he was an assistant and head coach at Pallacanestro Trieste for 8 years) as well as having served as an assistant for Italbasket Under 20 in the last two editions of the European Championships in that category.
“I am extremely happy for this new opportunity,” Legovich said, “For me this is a great opportunity for personal and professional growth in a square like Varese that, in addition to having an important historical value at the national level, in recent years has given itself an international scope thanks to the new course signed by Luis Scola who is doing something really innovative and structured. In the last few weeks I have also had the opportunity to personally meet with coach Bialaszewski who has been very direct and honest in presenting me with the technical project; I am ready to get involved with great humility and willingness to help both him and the club achieve the goals we have set for ourselves. I would like to thank the club for their trust in me; I look forward to arriving in the city and meeting the red and white fans.”
