Brad Binder and KTM Together Again
Brad Binder and KTM Together Again
Brad Binder continues his adventure in KTM for at least three more years. In fact, the Austrian team has made official the South African rider’s contract renewal until 2026.
The early contract extension was signed at the Red Bull KTM Racing Factory’s home Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.
“A huge thank you to KTM and the management for the trust and for allowing me to be involved in this incredible program. We are very close to what we want to achieve on the track, but I can’t say enough good things about the team and my team. Since 2015 and those first races with KTM it seems like a long time ago! But time passes quickly and we have some special memories. I know there are many more to take and I look forward to building those stories. Thank you again,” said a satisfied Binder.
Francesco Guidotti, Team Manager Red Bull KTM Factory Racing also commented on the renewal, “Brad is a rock for our team and it is great news that he will be with us even longer. We have been building a relationship and a project for a long time now. He brings a winning spirit to our box but also stability and an important understanding of KTM. He is always an exciting rider to watch and a great guy to work with. I want to thank him for his faith in us and how we have come together so far. There is still so much potential to come.”
Finally, Pit Beirer, director of KTM Motorsports, also spoke: “Keeping Brad at the center of our MotoGP program was a big priority for us. We love everything about this guy: he is an all-around rider and leaves it all on the track. Brad is a valuable part of the family and character, and the way he is in the pit box, the fans and the company make him the ideal ambassador for us. We have already achieved and experienced so much together, and it makes us very proud that he wants to continue on our RC16 and stay in orange. We couldn’t be happier to put that number 33 bike in the box for a few more years to come.”
