Juventus, alert for Federico Chiesa: a top European club is back in pressure
Juventus, Liverpool backlash for Federico Chiesa
In the Juventus household, after the excellent debut in the league, the question related to the future of Federico Chiesa, on whom, in the last hours, a top European club would have returned to press.
According to a report by "Tuttosport", Liverpool, complicit in the probable sale of Mohamed Salah to Al-Ittihad for an amount of around 115 million euros, would have identified the ex-Florentine son d'art as one of the possible candidates to replace the Egyptian star.
The Reds, for their part, should the negotiation with the Saudi club be successful, would have the liquidity needed to please the Bianconeri, who would be willing to let go of the European Champion blue outfielder for a sum of around 60 million euros.
Inbound, however, the main profiles evaluated by Juventus to replace Chiesa would be Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku and Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi.
From next July 1, it will be possible to deposit the contracts for the players who will make up the teams’ rosters for the 2023/2024 season.
