Pasticcio Ferrari in the pits, Leclerc remains without tires and does not hide his bitterness
"Unlucky race" is not enough to describe Charles Leclerc’s nightmarish Sunday at Zandvoort. At the start of the Dutch GP, the Ferrari driver made the right choice to change tires right away, but he was è penalized by his team, which had not prepared intermediate tires, and lost 13 precious seconds in the pits that would have allowed him to find himself at the top of the race.
Then the situation è precipitated in the following laps with the contact with Piastri, which caused the breakage of a wing, and the problem with the bottom that then forced him to retire.
After the race Charles Leclerc expressed his bitterness to Sky: "Pit entry? The call was right, we lost time becauseè we were not ready…. The call was mine. Despite everything we gained more than we lost, but the contact with Piastri strongly affected the car, there was nothing more to do, I lost 60 load points".
"I don’t think this is a fragile Ferrari, I didn’t see where è the contact was, but it was an important part of the car and we lost so much".
