Lukaku to Roma: minimum distance

Romelu Lukaku's landing at Roma is very close: the player has agreed to reduce his salary (from 10.8 to 7.5 million euros per year) and the only aspect still to be filed è the distance between supply and demand. At the moment, the Giallorossi are offering €5 million for an onerous loan, Chelsea è standing firm at €8. The feeling è that it could be closed in the middle: Mourinho wants to re-embrace the Belgian bomber and the English club wants to get rid of him.

During the press conference José Mourinho spoke thusì about the attack question: "When director Pinto proposed Azmoun to me, he told me that another striker will also arrive. And soì it makes me happy. If the other one is a quality striker, then Belotti, Azmoun and this hypothetical third striker, we are talking about good options up front. Who did Pinto promise me? No name, forò I was told that the companyà will workà strongly for another striker, with different characteristics from those we have today".

Romelu Lukaku è ready to wear the Roma jersey after a very troubled summer: Inter closed the doors to a possible return after discovering that the player had been in contact with Juventus for some time but the Bianconeri failed to bring him to Turin. Initially the negotiation was based on an exchange with Dusan Vlahovic plus an adjustment in favor of the Bianconeri but the two clubs failed to reach an understanding and Lukaku è was left with only Saudi Arabia offer. Not wanting to leave Europe, the Belgian decided to be patient and Roma closed the deal in short order: Tiago Pinto è flew to London and found an agreement in principle with Chelsea. With the last details ironed out, Romelu Lukaku will be a new Roma player.
