Angelo Sticchi Damiani peremptory on Monza’s future
ACI President Angelo Sticchi Damiani took stock of the situation regarding the renewal of the link between Monza and Liberty, which runs Formula 1.
“Monza è history, but also present and future – he explained during the presentation of the Italian Grand Prix -: it must keep up with the times. We are in a hurry, we have to sit at the table with the Americans, and I am convinced that everyone, including the government, will play their part”.
“The works related to safety are fundamental in the negotiations,” added the engineer from Lecce. “I believe that those related to the underpasses and the paving of the circuit can begin in November and be completed in April next year”.
