VR46 team manager Alessio "Uccio" Salucci in an interview with Gpone spoke about Marco Bezzecchi’s choice to stay with the team instead of going to Pramac to sit on an official Ducati.

"It's a pride for us, Marco è with us for so many years and he understood well what a team, a working group like this can give. He is a great fit and I told him 'Evaluate what the official bike can give you and evaluate instead what it can give you to stay with a team that you know well'. Marco è smart and he chose to stay with us"

The struggle with Pramac: "It's beautiful this challenge, we understood that our project would raise the bar for independent teams. In the end with our work we helped raise the average level and that gives us pride. We have a rule, and this comes from Valentino Rossi: racing is done in a certain way, otherwise it is not done. We love it here but it has to be done in a certain way".

Then the dig at haters: "There are and always will be. Maybe out of 100 there will be 5 who are willing to change their minds, but to the others you will always be a pest, one who è here for that or the other. I stopped thinking about it when I was 24, back then there weren&#39t even social media and I was being insulted in the mail. I don&#39t care about those people, even my wife occasionally makes me read comments, there's people who talk bad about my daughter, so what are we talking about?”".
