Allianz and Derthona Basket together for sports and more
Allianz and Derthona Basket presented in Torre Allianz, the Milan headquarters of the insurance-financial group led by CEO Giacomo Campora, the partnership that will see Allianz alongside the Tortona-based sports club, owned by the Gavio Group chaired by Beniamino Gavio.
Allianz will supportà for five sports seasons until 2027/2028 the “Lions” of Tortona with a special focus on the youth sector, and will supportà Derthona in its new social projects, with the aim of focusing on sports as a promoter of the values of inclusion and enhancement of the potential of everyone, especially the youngest.
Derthona Basket è has been the protagonist of a great rise in recent years and è has become a center of aggregation for many young athletes of all agesà. Most recently, the victory of the title Championesses d’Italia 3 x3 Under 16 female conquered by the Giraffes of Derthona Under 16.
The’importance that Allianz and Derthona attach to sports as a lever for personal and social development è was the focus of today’s presentation; Maurizio Devescovi, General Manager of Allianz S.p.A, emphasized the mission, for a large organization like Allianz, to ensure the future of people, including by contributing to the community and local communities with engaging and inclusive projects, as Allianz has always done also through the Group’s corporate foundation, the Allianz Umana Mente Foundation.
