Released from August 31, 2022, Simone Zaza has spent the last year without playing. The striker's been without a team since he broke off his relationship with Torino, and the challenges he has been offered in the past few months have not excited him enough.

Now però he may see a soccer field again: the bomber is liked by several Serie A and Serie B teams. Should an interesting and challenging project be presented to him, Zaza would be happy to return to wearing boots: at 32 years old, he is just waiting for the right call.

Growing up between Atalanta and Sampdoria, Simone Zaza performed well in his time at Sassuolo.Juventus signed him in 2015, then a spell in England at West Ham. The Bianconeri club then sold him to Valencia, and in Spain Zaza seemed to have regained confidence and goals. His return to Italy, to Torino, was not happy enough and in 2022 he was left without a team.
