Allianz and Vero Volleyball have announced a partnership agreement that will give the women’s volleyball team playing in the A1 series the new name Allianz VV Milano.

The insurance group led by’CEO Giacomo Campora è already the title sponsor of’Allianz Cloud, the arena in Piazzale Stuparich already the scene of most of the home challenges of the Consortium“pink” first team. With the new partnership, Allianz strengthens its link with women’s volleyball and the youth sector: in fact, it will give the name Allianz VV Milano to the lineup led by coach Marco Gaspari, a candidate for a season as a great protagonist in Italy and Europe with stars of the caliber of the Azzurri players Alessia Orro, Beatrice Parrocchiale, Myriam Sylla and Paola Egonu, along with many other international stars. In addition, the Allianz brand, the first global insurance brand, will also flank all the youth teams of Viscontini, a historic company of the Milan area and the Consortium, which will take the name Allianz Viscontini Milano.

The partnership agreement between Allianz and Vero Volleyball, which has a three-year duration starting from the 2023/2024 season, provides for numerous joint activities, with a precise focus on an ever-increasing promotion of volleyball and on the youth sector, objectives that the Consortium has supported since its foundation in 2008.
