Vuelta: Primoz Roglic conquers Angliru, Sepp Kuss always leader
Primoz Roglic won the 17thª stage of the Vuelta a Espama atop the terrible Angliru, one of the most difficult climbs in the world, where the Jumbo Visma team signed a new hat trick.
As at the Tourmalet last Friday, the Dutch team took control of the stage without letting go. Roglic won ahead of Jonas Vingegaard.
Sepp Kuss crossed the finish line 19 seconds later and barely retained the leader’s red jersey in the fog of the "monster of Asturias".
In the overall standings, with four days to go, Kuss has only an eight-second lead over Vingegaard and 1'08" over Roglic. The three can believe more than ever in an unprecedented hat trick in a Grand Tour on Sunday, after the final stage in Madrid.
