The countdown toward the start of the Italian basketball championship è almost at an end and Dinamo Sassari coach Piero Bucchi spoke to Corriere dello Sport, making a’top-down analysis of the more than 750 games he has experienced as a protagonist in Serie A.
"Milan and Bologna are favorites – he stressed -: Mirotic è a player of class and physicality; difficult to counter while Luca (Banchi, ed.) è a good coach. Other teams like Brescia, Reggio Emilia and Tortona could però surprise".
A dig, finally, at foreign coaches in Italy and those who hire them: "They bring no big news". Each coach brings his own experience and his own way of coaching, but major technical innovations don’t seem to me there can be".
