Adriano Panatta in a video posted on Twitter wanted to celebrate Jannik Sinner, who after his victory against Carlos Alcaraz è climbed up to #4 in the world ranking: "Sinner beat, or rather really took 'balls' Carlos Alcaraz in Beijing and è in the final, but most importantly he reached #4 in the world ranking, as I did so many years ago, and equaled me".

The former Italian tennis player, who was world number 4 in 1976, then made a prediction about the future: "Now, when he surpasses me, because he é will definitely do so, I already say now that he will be even more happy, so best wishes to Sinner and best wishes to Italian tennis".
