Simone Inzaghi chews bitterly: “Unacceptable.”
Simone Inzaghi does not hide his disappointment
He's anything but serene Simone Inzaghi, after the comeback from 2-0 to 2-2 that his Inter suffered Saturday afternoon, in front of the friendly crowd at the 'Meazza', against a tenacious Bologna that was good at not getting upset after finding itself down by two goals at 13'.
"With all that we produced and with the attitude shown by the team, this tie è unacceptable – he commented to the microphones of 'Dazn' the Piacenza technician -. We è lacked concentration, on 2-0 we should not have allowed Bologna to reopen the match. Congratulations to them, they are a team of quality and they showed it".
"I am angry and so are my players,” added Inzaghi. “It's the second time we are ahead and we do not win the game: with Sassuolo we lost, today we drew. We had a lot of chances but then we took two goals on our carelessness. On 2-2 è it was a monologue, but we were inaccurate".
The draw, for Inzaghi, should not, however, condition his players: "We have to think match by match – explained the Nerazzurri coach -. We are always masters of our own destiny, we must never look at others".
