England-Italy, the probable formations

Italy is looking for a feat at Wembley: Spalletti’s team takes the field against England in the match valid for Euro 2024 qualifying. The Azzurri are currently second in the standings along with Ukraine (which has played one more game), and can attempt to hook up with the English first in the standings.

Southgate’s lineup, which won the first leg over Italy, is a clear favorite: the coach will field the Foden-Kane-Rashford trident. In midfield there's the phenomenon Bellingham, assisted by Phillips and Rice.

Spalletti responds with the Berardi-Scamacca-El Shaarawy trident. In the midfield, possible trio Barella-Cristante-Frattesi, while Scalvini and Acerbi will try to contain the hosts'impact.
