Gabriele Procida, in view of tonight’s challenge of his ALBA Berlin at PalaDozza against Virtus Segafredo Bologna, gave an’interview to Luca Aquino on the “Corriere di Bologna”, underlining his feelings in his second year in Germany: “Everything is going well, I am getting to know my new teammates better and better, understanding their strengths and how to put them in the best conditions to do well. They have all integrated very well and the team è very united. The organization doesn't let us lack anything, we are always followed in the best way on and off the field. The staff is so eager to work, the gym è always open and everyone is available for individual training. There'è great attention to detail”.
Procida è also came back from the Azzurri summer: “Truly something unforgettable, a fantastic group: even though there was so much difference in ageà with some teammates, we all seemed like we had been together forever. To make the World Cup with Italy, to be seen by family and friends wearing the blue jersey on such a stage filled me with pride”.
Gabriele è was also selected by the Detroit Pistons in the 2022 NBA draft: “There's still a lot of work to be done. Playing in the NBA seems so far away, but it could always happen that I go there to work one year without finding room to improve and settle in. Then, in the following years, if I deserve it because Ié will have grown in technical and physical level, maybe I can play there. But I have to budget that it won't happen overnight, it takes a lot of work”.
