Miralem Pjanic snubs Napoli
Miralem Pjanic sees a three-way race for the Scudetto
Miralem Pjanic, during a live Instagram with 'Sportmediaset', tried to make the cards to the Italian championship that began two months ago, identifying three favorites among which there's not the reigning Italian champion Napoli, protagonist of a swinging start to the season.
"The favorites are the usual ones – said the Bosnian -, you cannot say that one is above the other, not even Inter, which has a superior squad to its opponents. Milan is doing well, è came in the lead at the break, Juve è attacked it. I think they will win one of these three".
"I am surprised that Roma did not start at their best,” Pjanic then added, talking about his two former Italian teams.
On paper, they have a more complete squad than last year, a very strong attack: they should be higher in the standings. Juve? Not è equipped like the others, but it has a strong squad and a winning coach".
Pjanic, born in 1990, played in Serie A from 2011 to 2020, five years at Roma and four at Juventus, winning, in bianconero, four Scudetti, two Italian Cups and an Italian Super Cup. After his farewell to Juve he wore the jerseys of Barcelona and Besiktas, before moving to the United Arab Emirates, to Sharjah, where he is playing his second season.
