The 'Picco' returns to host Spezia’s home games

Spezia returns home: five months after the last match played in its city (Spezia-Torino 0-4 last May 27), the Lega Serie B has confirmed the return of the Bianconero club to the Stadium 'Alberto Picco', following the o.k. by the FIGC Infrastructural and Sporting-Organizational Criteria Commission.

This is the official statement released on Wednesday, Oct. 25:

"Following the acceptance by the FIGC Infrastructural and Sporting-Organizational Criteria Commission of the application submitted by Società Spezia Calcio for the use of the stadium “A. Picco” in La Spezia, as a partial amendment and integration of the LNPB C.U. No. 12 of August 28, the official sports facility at which the events organized by Società Spezia Calcio will be held, starting with the match SPEZIA-COSENZA, 11th day of the Serie BKT 2023/2024 Championship, scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2023: SPEZIA CALCIO-LA SPEZIA-ALBERTO PICCO instead of “Orogel Stadium – D. Manuzzi” di Cesena".
