Carlos Sainz does not speak in Mexico, Ferrari: ‘Not feeling well’
No intervention in the press conference, but there'è an explanation.
Carlos Sainz is not speaking on the Thursday that kicks off the Mexican Grand Prix. In fact, the Spaniard has deserted the traditional drivers’ press conference, and Ferrari has explained why. Which però at least for the moment, does not seem to worry him much.
"Carlos is not feeling well. Nothing serious, so we expect him to come back tomorrow and be ready to get in the car", indeed, Ferrari reported, as confirmed by 'Sky Sport'. No further details were given on the nature of his illness.
Sainz è returned from the podium at the U.S. Grand Prix, where he had finished third after Lewis Hamilton’s disqualification (and that of Charles Leclerc, who had finished two places behind him). He had però already missed the Qatar Grand Prix because of a tank failure: "I had to recover mentally after Qatar, where I did not race. Here we were in New York for an event, I è really liked the atmosphere, Now I am ready to focus for Austin and get back on track", he said upon arrival in Texas.
