Ducati, Jorge Martin goads Pecco Bagnaia
Ducati, Jorge Martin to Bagnaia: "All'outside you don't pass me"
Ducati Pramac centaur Jorge Martin nibbled more points off World Championship leader Pecco Bagnaia in Thailand. The Spaniard analyzed his victory in Buriram: "I was not so sure of winning, but I knew I was one of the candidates. Going in the lead helped me manage the tire, especially for the finale".
" I did a very smart race, saving money. I saw that Pecco was getting closer and closer; and when I saw that he was close I started to pull. So I fought with Binder and Bagnaaia and I was able to beat them in the final just by saving tires".
"I think it was the best race of my life, in terms of fighting and getting three to the finish, I think it was incredible. I think from the outside the spectators must have enjoyed".
More on the final duel with Pecco: "When I saw it, I told myself "on the outside you won't overtake me'. I couldn't have forgiven myself for that. I started pushing like crazy and managed to gain the tenths needed to stay ahead".
