Max Verstappen beats even the rain and takes pole position for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix at the Interlagos circuit with a time of 1’10”727. Second è the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc who will start with him on the front row. Eighth is the’other Maranello Red, that of Carlos Sainz.

Q1 starts a quarter of an hour late because the track has to be cleared of debris left by cars from a side race.
