Milan, hunt for defender: two more names for Stefano Pioli
Defense emergency, Milan accelerates: contacts for Kiwior and Koulierakis
The long stop of Pierre Kalulu, who will not return until March, and more generally the physical problems that are plaguing Milan’s defensive department have convinced the management to move up the timetable to bring reinforcements to Stefano Pioli as soon as the soccer market reopens.
In addition to Lloyd Kelly of Bournemouth, two other names have emerged in the last few hours, both of them throwbacks: they are Jakub Kiwior and Kostantinos Koulierakis, in whom interest had already been shown in August.
Kiwior already has more than a fair amount of experience in Serie A: in fact, he played from August 2021 to January 2023 in Spezia, putting himself in the spotlight to such an extent that he earned the attentions of Arsenal, with whom, however, he has not yet managed to carve out much space. According to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', he would now be the first choice for January.
As for Koulierakis, according to 'Tuttosport' the Rossoneri would be ready to sink the blow with PAOK, after having sounded the ground in the last days of the soccer market: the Greek, among other things, can be employed as Kalulu both in the center of the defense and on the flank, although he prefers the left.
