È the long-awaited time has come for the start of the women's sprint season and Italy is trembling with anticipation to see its athletes take to the track.
After debuting with the giant slalom in Soelden and the two special slaloms contested in Levi, it's the turn of the downhill races on the very long slopes, ready to explode adrenaline and speed in the pink-tinged event called "speed opening".
The first two downhill races of the season will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18 and Sunday, Nov. 19 (at 11:45 a.m.), with a super determined Sofia Goggia in the front row. In case of favorable weather, è a highly spectacular stage is expected on a course never before seen on the Circo Bianco.
