Jannik Sinner’s Final

The ATP Finals final between Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic is changing channels, following a decision by broadcaster RAI. The match will take place at 6 p.m. and will feature the encounter between the world No. 4 and No. 1, who have already faced each other during the group stage. Sinner, in particular, is raising the enthusiasm of Italian fans, gaining the attention of not only tennis fans. The final represents an unmissable occasion for tennis fans, ready to experience the thrill of an unprecedented confrontation between two great champions.

Initially, the conclusion of the event was scheduled to be broadcast on Rai2, like the previous matches of the tournament. However, the exceptional audience figures (with as many as 2.4 million viewers in the semifinal against Daniil Medvedev, achieving a share of 18.27 percent) advised the national network to change the already established schedule, scheduling the contest on Rai1.

It is noteworthy that the last tennis event broadcast on Rai1 went all the way back to 1999 with the Davis Cup match between Italy and Switzerland, specifically the match between Davide Sanguinetti and the young Roger Federer. The challenge to be held today could clearly surpass the record of 3 million viewers.
