F1, GP Abu Dhabi: Charles Leclerc the fastest in second free practice

Charles Leclerc è the fastest in the second free practice of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The Monegasque driver recorded the best time, turning in 1'24"809.

In a session marked by two long interruptions, first for Carlos Sainz's accident, who went to the wall in Turn 3, and then for that of Nico Hulkenberg, who went off the track due to a spin, it was the Monegasque driver who got the better of the session, ahead of Lando Norris's McLaren by 43 thousandths and Max Verstappen&#39s Red Bull by 173 thousandths.

Completing the Top 5 were the Alfa Romeo of Valtteri Bottas and the other Red Bull of Sergio Perez. Seventh is the other Alfa Romeo of Guanyu Zhou, between the two Mercedes of George Russell, in sixth, and Lewis Hamilton, in eighth. Rounding out the Top 10 are Pierre Gasly and Oscar Piastri. Disappointing is Aston Martin with Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, in 11th and 13th place, respectively.
