Jannik Sinner, plans change in 2024: the new agenda
After the great triumph, plans change.
Jannik Sinner has already made plans for 2024. The San Candido outfielder, after a 2023 world No. 4 and his triumph with Italy in the Davis Cup, is already thinking ahead to a new season in which to confirm himself at the highest level. And to do so, he is setting up a different schedule of commitments from the past.
In fact, as confirmed by his coach Simone Vagnozzi, Sinner will begin the season by focusing immediately on the Australian Open, which begins on Jan. 14. The first major tournament of the year will not be preceded by any other official commitments (there will be only the exhibition at the Kooyong Classic). He will skip, for example, the previous ATP 250 in Adelaide and the next one in Montpellier.
He will then return to the court regularly in February at the Marseille 250 and the Rotterdam 500, where he had made it all the way to the final in this 2023. Sinner’s next commitments will then be at a higher level. In fact, two prestigious Masters 1000s in the United States will come: first that of Indian Wells and then that of Miami. A schedule as a leader in the ATP rankings, as by now the South Tyrolean è to all intents and purposes.
