The first part è characterized by’crossing numerous towns in the Reggio Emilia area and then entering the Secchia valley and climbing it up to the foot of the final climb. The final climb of about 11 km effective, the first GPM of the Giro, has a first part around 6% to lighten the effort after the locità “La Collina”.

/07/2024, STAGE 4, IMOLA-URBINO 133 KM: Again a stage divided into two parts: the completely flat approach and the very bumpy finish. From Imola to Savignano sul Rubicone you follow the practically straight and flat Via Emilia punctuated only by towns and their collection of traffic obstacles. After Savignano you gradually enter the Romagna Apennines. You cross the Republic of San Marino where è placed a GPM and directly reach Urbino via Mercatino conca with a few more climbs in addition to the final finish tear.

/07/2024, STAGE 5, FRONTONE-FOLIGNO 111 KM; last quiet stage before the final triptych that will determine the Giro standings. It crosses the Umbro-Marchigiano Apennines touching Pergola and Sassoferrato before entering the Via Flaminia that with its continuous undulations in progressive descent will bringà up to the’arrival. Very fast finish in the cityà. Arrival in Foligno as in previous editions of the Tirreno-Adriatico or the Giro d’Italia.

/07/2024, STAGE 6, SAN BENEDETTO DEL TRONTO-CHIETI 155 KM: Stage composed of a succession of climbs and descents as the race moves from one valley to another. One can count ten more or less tough climbs along the route with as many descents. There è practically no plain. Finale all all’insù with double-digit inclines leading to the center of Chieti.

/07/2024, ROUTE 7, LANCIANO-BLOCKHAUS 123 KM: mountain tappone. Virtually a breathless succession of short climbs at the’beginning ended by the double climb of Passo Lanciano, which on the second pass continues to Blockhaus (Mamma Rosa). It climbs Bocca di Valle after Guardiagrele and La Forchetta after Pretoro before entering the terrible final circuit. The first climb from Lettomanoppello ends at Passo Lanciano to descend to La Forchetta and back to Lettomanoppello you climb back to Passo Lanciano completing the climb to the finish at Blockhaus. The roads are very challenging characterized by many curves and numerous ups and downs especially in the first part.
