Italian ski mountaineering è shaken by the death of 18-year-old Mirko Lupo Olcelli, a promising athlete of the Alta Valtellina Ski Club, the Central Alps and the Italian national under-20 ski mountaineering team. A 16-year-old girl traveling with the victim, who was promptly transported to Sondalo hospital, was also injured in the crash, which also involved another car.
